Did we ever Landed on the Moon ?

On February 15, 2001 the FOX television network aired a program titled Conspiracy Theory: Did We Land On The Moon? This program showed alleged evidence that NASA faked the moon landings. This hoax theory has been around for several years, but this is the first time it has been presented to such a wide audience.

This TV program capitalizes on America's fixation with government conspiracies by sensationalizing the notion that NASA perpetrated a multi-billion dollar hoax on the world. Some of the most prominent advocates of the hoax theory are Bill Kaysing, author of We Never Went To The Moon, Ralph Rene, author of NASA Mooned America, David Percy and Mary Bennett, co-authors of Dark Moon: Apollo and the Whistle Blowers and, more recently, Bart Sibrel, producer of A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Moon. These people, and other hoax advocates, usually point to alleged anomalies in the Apollo photo and video record as evidence of their claims.

The Photographic Evidences

Issue 1 :

Since the Moon has only one light source, the Sun, the shadows must be in line. But in this cases, it looks as if there are multiple light sources in moon, which is not possible.

Issue 2:

The foreground of many images of the astronauts on the Moon are filled in with light, while the shadows remain absolutely black, again proving that there are multiple light sources.

Issue 3 :

There are no stars in the background from pictures taken on the Moon.

Issue 4 :

In some images, a huge light source can be seen reflected in the astronaut's visors. This has to be a very bright, nearby source. There is no possibility of external light source in moon.

Issue 5 :

How could NASA take TV images of the LM ascending on Apollo 15, 16, and 17 if there was no one on the Lunar surface to man the camera?

Issue 6 :

There can't be any pictures taken on the Moon because the film would melt in the 250° temperatures. Any film exposed to 250° would indeed melt at that temperature.

Issue 7 :

The LM engine was very powerful. How come it did not leave a crater below the spacecraft? Why didn't it kick up any dust when it landed?

Issue 8 :

The footprints left by the astronauts are proof that the Moon landings are fake.
This one is also essentially a two pronged argument. First, the Fox show charged that the LM engine was so powerful that the upper layer of dust should have been blown away around the LM, so there should not be any footprints. Others have charged that the footprints should not be there since in the absence of water as a bonding agent, they should not maintain coherent shapes and sharp outlines.

Issue 9 :

There is no dust on LM footpads. -- According to Kaysing and Fox, this is the strongest evidence that the Moon landings are faked. They allege that with the swirling dust from LM descent engine, the foot pads should be covered with dust.

Issue 10:

The pictures below show that flags are waving. And they never will. The flag was on the airless Moon, just as we all knew.

There are many more issues on this topic but those are too technical for a layman to understand.

Where can I find more information?

The responses provided above give only the briefest answers to the various hoax claims. There is much more that can be said regarding each topic. If you have questions or require additional information you can either email this site, or you can visit the many links provided at the bottom of this page. I especially recommend Moon Base Clavius, which is an on-line encyclopedia dedicated to debunking the moon-landing hoax claims. Clavius is probably the most complete and authoritative site of its kind on the Internet.

If you wish to examine the photographic and written evidence for yourself, I recommend the Apollo Lunar Surface Journal, by Eric M. Jones. This site is an enormous collection of mission summaries, photographs, video clips, audio clips, mission reports, science reports, technical debriefings, etc. compiled over a period of many years. Much of it is the very same information the hoax advocates try to tell us either does not exist or is unavailable. I also recommend the Apollo Image Gallery and the Apollo Image Atlas.

  1. Hallo ,

    TY

  2. Moon does'nt hav 250 c of temperature.. who told u about this...
moon has maximum temperature of 111c and a minimum of -173c..

atmospheric pressure of moon is 3x10^-5 atm so, u can't say there is vaccum

flag was not flattering but remins still because of less gravitational pull
if it was really flatters there should be some motion blur because on those days , we wont hav motion sensing cameras as we hav today...

shadows varies because there is an artificial light source used for photography as it is used everywhere for a good photography..
u cant click images in street lights at night time. the image is jst dark then..

helmet shows reflection of the click...
put a mirror and camera in front and then click and see the image..
u'll see a huge light on camera...and that's what u noticed in their helmet...

  3. Well you guys are so funny and misinformed. For example, go to the darkest place on earth in a very clear night (not all the places on earth have the same darkness at night), take your camera with you and take a picture with no flash...what will you see?? a perfect BLACK picture not even stars no nothing. Stars appear only in long exposures more that 15 seconds of exposure and even 15 sec will catch only the brighter stars. On the moon with the amount of light available by the sun you DO NOT need 15 sec for a picture! more likely 1/250 of a sec or less depending on the direction of the subject with respect to the sun. Do you think that the astronauts will spend 15 or more sec just to have stars in the background of the pictures??. Parallel shadows: Parallel shadows on the floor with only one source of light (in this case the sun) are possible ONLY with a FLAT surface, in this case the floor of the moon is NOT flat. As you can see in the pictures that are shown in this page there is not flat moon surfaces in the area where the astronauts are stand still.

Cameras move to follow the lunar modules when it took off because they where controlled remotely!! and you know remote controller devices existed in the unmanned probes sent (by USA and Russia) to the moon years before the astronauts walked on the moon.

I can say even more but a think this is enough to see that are very simple and real explanation to contradict every argument about "a fake landing on the moon" posted here. They where to the moon. With a simple physics class you can explain every detail that you can see in the pictures and videos of the human landing and working on the moon.
