Samsung has yet again become the talk of the town by launching two new ranges of tablets in India. The tabs are called Tab A and Tab E; they are all set to carry forward Samsung’s bequest of smart media devices.

Both the devices are designed, keeping in mind different preferences of consumers by having varied resolution, display, sizes and much more. Let us have a sneak peek of devices and know more about them.

Build and Design

Tab A and Tab E are offered in a single body design with matte finish at the back and glass at front.

SIM and micro SD slot placed on right side and two push buttons are present at the back which turn display on and off on attaching a flip cover on it.

Both tabs are similar yet different in looks, Tab A has a metallic bezel finished on slightly curved back while Tab E is almost parallel in design with slightly tapered bezels.

Tab A and Tab E both have decent displays with vibrant colors and correct viewing angles. This gives a pleasant feel to look at the screen.

The tabs offer great multitasking and battery backup is pretty decent when we played heavy games on it. Tab A is powered by a 64-bit 1.2GHz Snapdragon Quad-Core processor backed with 2GB RAM and 16GB built-in storage. On the other hand Tab E is stronger in build as well as power as it houses 1.3GHz Spreadtrum Quad-Core CPU, 1.5GB RAM with 8GB. Parental Control

Samsung tabs are greatly used for education purposes and parental control app lets parents decide what their child sees on tab.The parental control mode is password driven and displays only file content and apps which are allowed on the mode. The user can easily switch back to normal mode by entering the password.

Camera and Battery

As already mentioned both the tabs have same camera configuration having 5 MP camera at rear and 2 MP front camera for purposes of video calling or taking selfies.

Since both tabs have same camera, the picture quality is same and very decent when comes to being a picture clicked from a tab.

The bigger one, Tab E, is charged by 5000mAh battery, while smaller one, Tab A, has a smaller battery of 4200mAh.

On an optimum usage both the tabs stayed alive for a period of more than 72 hours.

Also, with Tab A one can get Galaxy gifts worth 30,000 on the app store for all genres such as Entertainment, eBooks, Lifestyle and Utility Apps.
