Acer is doing excellent with launching smartphones for the budget conscious audience. With the variety of phones it has launched Acer has put forward another of its mid-range product in the market, Acer Liquid Z530. Launched in September 2015, the phone has quite commendable features for a budget phone. Let us have walk the talk with the phone.

Design

Acer Z530 is compact, comes in black color and a little different in front and back design when compared to usual smartphones. At the back you can find ACER written in the middle of a plastic brushed panel. Beneath this panel you will find two SIM slots, a battery and a microSD compartment. While speaker, power button and volume rockers could be find at the edges of this phone.

Display

The phone has a 5 inch display housing a resolution of 720p and an admirable pixel density of 294PPI resulting clear display. For videos, you will not find option to run 1080p videos but 720p videos runs pretty impressively. Also, the display is clear under the sun on full display. You will find color reproduction very intense due to Zero Air Gap technology to ensure bright rendering of colors.

Interface Apps

Acer Z530 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop on Liquid UI which contains an app drawer with some other custom settings. Pre-installed apps include cloud based services like abFiles, abMusic, abPhoto, Acer Aid Kit and Acer Care Center. For kids, this phone has a dedicated Kids Center and Kids Center Paint. You can also find games like Danger Dash and Ninja up along with 50+ other free games. These is 16GB of internal storage of which 3GB is taken up by System installations.

Hardware and Performance

Acer Z530 is powered by Mali-T720 GPU and MediaTek MT6735 processor and benchmark tests proves that this processor is stronger than Snapdragon 410. The device offered us a good browsing experience and there was no lag to be encountered while playing games like Riptide GP2 and Dead Trigger 2.

With 16GB of internal storage and 2 GB RAM Z530 is very good phone as compared to its competition at this price.

Camera

Camera to our surprise is 8 MP rear as well as 8 MP front camera, so it can be considered as one of cheapest selfie centric phone available. The picture quality of both the cameras is good, especially in outdoors with quite responsive autofocus. The video recording is not very impressive but we can do with it until picture quality is good.

Battery and Connectivity

Liquid Z530 comes with 2420 mAh capacity battery which is enough for a phone supporting maximum screen resolution of 720p.

Connectivity options include Dual Sim Slot, 4G LTE Connection, microSD, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, A–GPS and Wi-Fi

Conclusion
