Tigor : 'The Sedan' from Tata : Meet, Drive & Car Experience #TigorStyleBack
Tata is soon to rock the roads again with its brand new car, "The Tata Tigor." I was amongst the first few in India to get hands on experience with this beauty before it is set to be launched.
It was an email, and I was all scheduled to fly to Delhi to witness the unveiling of The Tigor. Delighted at the thought of beholding history, I decided no stones should be left unturned, and I did my little homework about the car before leaving for Delhi.
And Oh! It is always an Aha moment when Tata be your host! This one was another splendid opportunity when I get to be Tata’s guest and meet my fellow bloggers. We were well received, handed out our i-cards and headed straight to 1AQ art gallery which was specially booked for Tigor.
The place was having a small carnival of its own, where we could see people beat boxing, diverse food, people dancing, style back studio for a swanky makeover for everyone. I even got a personalized perfume of my own which they said is made to reflect my personality, but my eyes kept browsing for the Tigor!
There happened the extravagant curtain raiser, and the moment I laid my eyes on it, all the tiredness of morning flight just blew away. The bronze color with those swooping looks was a sure show stopper. The car has premium hatchback looks, mixed with subcompact sedan. The front and rear reminded me of Tiago, but the sporty side profile will surely win a lot many hearts.
We then checked-in to our rooms in Andaz Hyatt, where after a brief rest, a splendid night was arranged for us with food and music.
The first day with being Tata’s guest was incredibly overwhelming, and all of us bloggers were waiting for the next day where we get to share the road with Tigor.
The day was here, the sun was bright and fresh, and we just had our sumptuous breakfast. Teams were made I had three spectacular bloggers on my team, and we were set to ablaze the curvy road on Tigor.
We could notice that Tata Tigor will be launched in six ravishing colors which buyers can select suiting their personality and need. For the sporty feel of the car, Tigor has berry red, striker blue, sunburst orange and espresso brown while for a professional look it comes in platinum silver and pearlescent white.
These cars are further launched in 5 variants of diesel and another 5 of petrol.
The piano black interiors, upholstery, and smart seating are splendid. Tigor being a four-meter long sedan offers enough leg room where five people can sit comfortably. The boot space took my breath away, a 420 liters booth space could handle all my necessities when on a long drive with the family.
The moment you sit in that car, you will admire the dual tone interiors with the chic dashboard, and three spoke multifunction steering wheel. Music system comprises of JBL speakers and infotainment system has a five-inch touch screen comprising of navigation, pairing up a phone, AC control and other convenient features that aids you in handling the car while driving it.
I tried both power and eco-city drive options, and in all of the cases, the car was peppy, and handling was brilliant. My trip was safe and fun, it was an enjoyable ride and an un-forgetful journey that ended in a couple of hours.
