Intex Aqua Ace : Features, Review & More


Intex, the company largely known for selling low range smart phones has recently launched its comparatively premium model Intex Aqua Ace. Intex has done pretty decent job in getting together high specifications in a moderately priced cell phone. Let’s have a closer look at Intex Aqua Ace.

Look and Feel

On opening up the box the first thing our eyes struck on was a shining metallic black back body and its minimalistic design which provide a posh feeling to the phone. This is one of the things that is hugely contributing to the phone’s premium looks. The phone is remarkably light at 121 grams in spite of packing so much hardware.

Display

Intex Aqua Ace has 5-inch HD Super AMOLED display screen while the front and back is made of made of Gorilla Glass 3.The AMOLED panel is 720x128o pixel and screen seems quite bright with impressive viewing angles but they go little hazy when in full sunlight.

Camera

Rear camera comprises of 13 megapixel camera while front one is 5 megapixel and both of them produces decent pictures. Although, night mode is not very commendable but shots taken in daylight were properly focussed while keeping details intact and produced natural quality pictures.

Performance and Battery

Intex has imbibed a whopping 3 GB RAM into Aqua ACE and this results in quicker and faster responses when compared to other mid-range phones. Processor is a MediaTek 6735 64-bit 1.3GHz quad-core which makes gaming experience a bliss. Also, heavy games lag a little bit, but we do not expect intense games to run smoothly on any mid-range phone.

Playing 1080p test videos turned out very smooth without having any hint of tear. Also, graphics and benchmark test resulted out to be very good and the phone scored 13,683 overall in Quadrant and 28,397 in AnTuTu.

The phone is powered by 2,300 mAH battery which we found to be a high performer especially on high usage.

Features and Internal Storage

Intex Aqua ACE runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 and has additional features of voice wakeup which activates the phone. Also, there are smart motion features, gesture capture for camera, voice capture, cast screen, GPS and USB on-the-go (OTG) which feature allows users to plug-in flash storage devices like pen drives and hard disks for data transfer. Along with all the above mentioned features there are a couple of useful pre-installed apps.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, dual-SIM 4G LTE support and VoLTE band support.
This mid-range phone also has a 16 GB internal memory with 128 GB of expandable storage capacity.

Conclusion

Priced at Rs.12,999, the mid- Range Intex Aqua ACE is a light, trendy and good looking phone. Comprising of a 3GB RAM at this price is surely a perfect ingredient in phone to make it successful. Also, the commendable battery could be another extremely luring factor for someone browsing mid-range good phones.
